The Sega Dreamcast is Sega's final home console. Games load from GD-ROM discs, a proprietary optical format, and the system has four controller ports across the front. The controller features an analog stick, D-pad, four face buttons, and two analog triggers, plus a slot for the Visual Memory Unit. The VMU is a memory card with its own small LCD screen and buttons, used by some games for secondary displays or standalone minigames. The Dreamcast includes a built-in modem for online play and web browsing, which several titles supported. Its library includes arcade conversions, fighting games, racing, role-playing games, and sports titles, with a number of games ported from Sega's NAOMI arcade hardware. Video output uses a proprietary AV port supporting composite, S-Video, RGB, and VGA options.
This is an authentic original console — no reproductions. Every product we sell is cleaned and tested before it ships.
