NHL 06 is EA's licensed ice hockey simulation, featuring NHL teams, arenas and player rosters. Matches play out with full rules, including line changes, penalties and power plays, and you can adjust period length, difficulty and rule settings to taste. Controls cover passing, dekes, shooting and body checks, with goaltender play handled automatically or manually depending on your settings. Alongside quick exhibition games there are season and playoff formats plus a longer franchise-style mode where you manage rosters, trades and player development across multiple years. Presentation includes commentary, arena audio and a licensed soundtrack. Multiple players can compete or team up on the same console. It is a conventional entry in the annual series, aimed at players who want organized league hockey rather than an arcade variant.
This listing is for an authentic original disc — no reproductions. Every product we sell is cleaned and tested before it ships, and our games are backed by a 1-year warranty. Choose Game Only or Complete (CIB) above.
