Forsaken 64 is a first-person shooter built around full six-degrees-of-freedom movement. Instead of walking, you pilot an armed hoverbike that can fly, strafe, roll and turn in any direction, which means combat plays out through vertical shafts, side tunnels and open chambers as often as it does along corridors. The setting is a ruined Earth left dangerous after a scientific catastrophe, and you take the role of a scavenger picking through the wreckage. Levels are maze-like industrial and cavern complexes where you collect weapons and power-ups, fight hostile machines and rival scavengers, and locate objectives before heading for the exit. Enemies can attack from above and below, so tracking threats in three dimensions is a constant part of play. A multiplayer mode lets players fight each other in split-screen arenas.
