Top Gear Rally is a rally-focused racing game for the Nintendo 64. Rather than wheel-to-wheel pack racing, events emphasise driving over loose surfaces such as dirt and gravel, where weight transfer and controlled slides matter. A championship mode takes you through a season of events, with vehicle setup options including tire and suspension choices to suit the conditions of each stage. The game also includes a paint editor that lets you create custom liveries for your car. Courses are run in varying weather and lighting, and both interior and chase camera views are available. Two players can compete on a split screen. Progress through the season unlocks additional cars and tracks.
