Hitman: Blood Money continues the third-person stealth series with Agent 47 carrying out contract killings in large, open mission areas. As in earlier entries, you can study patrol routes, take disguises from people you incapacitate, and use tools ranging from fiber wire and silenced pistols to environmental hazards. Deaths staged to look like accidents draw the least attention. The game adds a notoriety system: a newspaper report follows each mission, describing what witnesses saw and how much evidence you left behind, which affects how easily you are recognised later. Money earned from contracts can be spent between missions on weapon upgrades such as scopes, silencers and improved magazines. Missions can be replayed to attempt quieter routes and different kill methods.
