Kelly Slater's Pro Surfer is an arcade-style surfing game for the PlayStation 2. You choose a surfer, take off on a wave, and score points by chaining aerials, spins, grabs and rail tricks together into combos before the wave closes out. Progression is driven by objective and score goals on each break, which unlock additional locations and characters. Paddling back out between rides, reading the wave face for speed, and picking your launch sections are central to keeping runs going, while wipeouts cut a run short. Professional surfers feature alongside Kelly Slater himself, and stages are set at surf spots around the world. A licensed soundtrack plays during sessions. The structure will feel familiar if you have played trick-based skateboarding games.
