Legend of the Dragon is a fighting game based on the animated series of the same name, built around martial arts combat between characters who draw on the powers of the Chinese zodiac. Matches take place in enclosed arenas, and you pick a fighter and work through opponents in one-on-one bouts using strings of punches, kicks and throws alongside special attacks tied to each character's zodiac sign. Alongside single matches against the computer, there is two-player competitive play so a second person can pick a rival fighter and face you directly. Stages and character designs follow the look of the cartoon, with animated-style models and bright arena backdrops. If you know the show, the appeal here is playing as its cast; if not, it is a straightforward arena brawler for the PlayStation 2.
