Minority Report on PlayStation 2 is a third-person action game based on the science-fiction film. You play as John Anderton, pursued through a near-future city, and progress through linear levels made up of fights and escape sequences. Combat is the core of the game: you string together punches and kicks, grab and throw enemies, hurl them into walls, windows and scenery, and pick up guns and improvised weapons when they appear. Environments are built to be used against opponents, and destructible objects feature heavily in the brawling. Between fights there are chase and platforming sections, plus vehicle and traversal moments drawn from the story. Points earned for stylish takedowns can be spent on unlocks, giving a reason to vary your attacks rather than repeating the same combo.
