MX vs ATV Untamed is an off-road racing game for the PlayStation 2 that puts motocross bikes and ATVs on the same courses, along with other off-road vehicles. Because bikes and quads handle very differently over jumps and through ruts, mixed-class racing becomes a matter of picking lines that suit whatever you are riding. Events cover enclosed supercross-style circuits, outdoor motocross tracks and longer point-to-point courses over open terrain, plus freestyle riding where you chain tricks in the air for points. Rider lean is used to control the vehicle in flight and to preload for jumps. A career mode moves you through event types and unlocks further vehicles and tracks, and multiplayer racing is supported for head-to-head competition.
