A crossover action game that brings SpongeBob together with characters from other Nicktoons series, including faces from Danny Phantom, Jimmy Neutron, Invader Zim and Tak. A spreading goo threatens their worlds, and heroes and villains end up working as teams to deal with it. You control a pair of characters at a time and swap between them on the fly, since each one has different abilities needed to clear obstacles and reach new areas. Levels are drawn from the various Nicktoons settings and mix combat, platforming and light puzzle solving, with boss fights punctuating the story. A second player can join in for cooperative play. Cutscenes carry the plot between stages, and the art style shifts to suit whichever cartoon world you are visiting.
