Super Play Action Football is an American football game for the Super Nintendo. You call plays from a playbook on offense and defense, then take the field in a scrolling view that follows the action downfield. Passing involves picking a receiver and timing the throw, while running plays depend on finding gaps in the line and using your blockers. Teams are organized into pro and college groupings, and you can play a single exhibition game or work through a longer season toward the championship. Options let you adjust quarter length and other settings before kickoff. Two players can compete head to head on the same console. The presentation uses sprite-based players on a green field with a scoreboard overlay, and progress in longer modes is retained through a password system.
This listing is for an authentic original cartridge — no reproductions. Every product we sell is cleaned and tested before it ships, and our games are backed by a 1-year warranty. Choose Game Only or Complete (CIB) above.
