Robo Pit 2 is a PlayStation fighting game built around customisable robots. Matches take place in enclosed 3D arenas where you circle, dash and attack a single opponent, with the camera tracking both machines. The hook is the parts system: your robot is assembled from separate components such as arms, legs and body, and each part carries its own attacks and characteristics. Defeating an opponent lets you take parts from it, so the roster of moves available to you grows and changes as you work through the ladder of enemy machines. This encourages experimenting with combinations rather than settling on one fixed fighter. Alongside the main progression there are versus matches for two players. Controls cover movement around the arena plus separate attacks tied to the equipped limbs.
