An action-adventure game based on the LEGO Bionicle line, following the story of the Toa and their conflict on the island setting of the toy range. You take control of Toa heroes across a series of stages, each character having their own elemental powers and weapons to use against Rahi beasts and other enemies. Play alternates between exploration and combat sections, where you break obstacles and solve simple environmental puzzles, and faster vehicle-style sequences in which you ride or slide down long courses while steering around hazards. Masks and other pickups scattered through the levels reward exploring away from the main path. The look draws directly on the constructed-figure aesthetic of the toys, with characters, enemies and scenery modelled after Bionicle parts.
