Championship Motocross 2001 is a handheld dirt bike racing game for Game Boy Color. You ride a motocross bike on enclosed off-road courses filled with jumps, berms and bumpy straights, competing against rival riders for position. Races are built around timing your throttle and landings so that jumps push you forward rather than costing you speed. The game offers single races and championship-style play across a series of events, with results carried between them. Presentation uses the Game Boy Color's colour palette with sprite-based riders and scaled track scenery rather than the polygonal graphics of the console versions. It plays on Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance systems, making it a compact version of the console motocross racing formula for handheld play.
This listing is for an authentic original cartridge — no reproductions. Every product we sell is cleaned and tested before it ships, and our games are backed by a 1-year warranty. Choose Game Only or Complete (CIB) above.
