EyeToy: Play is a collection of camera-controlled minigames for the PlayStation 2, built for use with the EyeToy USB camera. The camera films you and puts your live image on screen, so you control the games by moving your hands, arms and body in front of it rather than by using a controller. Activities are short and simple to pick up, covering things like batting objects away, wiping a surface clean, and keeping items in the air, with on-screen guidance showing where to move. Scores are recorded so players can compare attempts, and several of the games support taking turns with friends and family. The camera also allows basic photo and video effects outside of the games. Adequate lighting and open space in front of the television are needed.
