Hot Shots Tennis: Get a Grip applies the cartoon style of the Hot Shots series to tennis on the PlayStation Portable. Matches are played from behind the court, with shot type determined by which button you press and by timing, so you mix flat drives, lobs, slices and drop shots while moving into position. Characters have different strengths in areas such as power, speed and control, and you can equip gear and improve your player as you compete. Singles and doubles are both supported, and you progress through a series of matches and tournaments against computer opponents. Local wireless play allows matches against other PSP owners. The pacing and presentation stay light rather than simulation-focused, with rallies built around reading your opponent's position and choosing the right return.
This listing is for an authentic original UMD — no reproductions. Every product we sell is cleaned and tested before it ships, and our games are backed by a 1-year warranty. Choose Game Only or Complete (CIB) above.
