An action-platformer based on the film adaptation of Lemony Snicket's books, following the Baudelaire orphans after they are placed in the care of Count Olaf. You switch between Violet, Klaus and baby Sunny, each with different abilities: Violet invents and uses gadgets, Klaus relies on his reading and knowledge, and Sunny uses her teeth to bite and reach small spaces. Levels are set in the gloomy houses and grounds from the story, and progress involves fighting off creatures, solving simple environmental puzzles and collecting items scattered through each area. Collected parts are used to assemble inventions that open new paths. The presentation follows the film's dark storybook look, with narration linking the chapters together.
