Mario vs. Donkey Kong is a puzzle-platformer for Game Boy Advance. Donkey Kong has taken a supply of Mini-Mario toys, and Mario pursues him across a series of themed worlds. Each level is a single-screen or scrolling puzzle room where you collect a key, carry it to a locked door, and then reach the toy in a second section. Mario has an expanded move set drawn from the Game Boy game Donkey Kong, including handstands, high jumps, backflips and the ability to pick up and throw objects and enemies. Later stages in each world task you with guiding a line of wind-up Mini-Marios safely to a toy box, avoiding hazards and using switches and platforms. Worlds close with a boss fight against Donkey Kong.
