Namco Museum on Nintendo 64 is a compilation of Namco's coin-op arcade games, presented for play on a home console. The lineup draws on the company's early catalogue, with maze titles such as Pac-Man, the fixed-shooter action of Galaga, and the digging and pump-based combat of Dig Dug among the games included. Each title is emulated as a single-screen arcade experience, so sessions are short, score-driven, and built around learning enemy patterns rather than progressing through a story. You select a game from a front-end menu and play it much as it appeared in arcades, chasing high scores across escalating rounds. Controls are mapped to the N64 pad, and games are played one at a time from the menu. Suitable for pick-up-and-play sessions and for players interested in Namco's arcade history.
