NHL 06 is EA's licensed hockey simulation for PlayStation 2, with NHL teams, arenas and player rosters. Games follow real rules, including penalties, power plays and line changes, and settings let you adjust period length, difficulty and how strictly officiating is applied. On the ice you handle passing, dekes, shot types and checking, working the puck through the neutral zone and setting up chances in front of the net. Beyond exhibition matches there are season and playoff options plus a franchise-style mode covering trades, signings and player progression over several seasons. Commentary, crowd audio and a licensed soundtrack fill out the presentation. Several players can compete against each other or play on the same team locally. It is a standard yearly installment rather than an arcade spin-off.
This listing is for an authentic original disc — no reproductions. Every product we sell is cleaned and tested before it ships, and our games are backed by a 1-year warranty. Choose Game Only or Complete (CIB) above.
