Outlaw Volleyball Remixed brings the Outlaw series' beach volleyball game to PlayStation 2 in a revised form. Matches are two-on-two on sand courts, with serving, setting, spiking and blocking based on timing and player positioning. The roster is made up of exaggerated, trash-talking characters with individual stat spreads, so who you pair up changes how a match plays out. A composure system connects your team's mood to their performance on the court, and the insults keep flowing between points. You can play exhibition matches, work through tournament play, or take on a friend in local multiplayer. The game keeps the series' crude humour and beach settings, and its handling stays arcade-oriented rather than simulation-focused.
