Project Eden is a science-fiction action game set in a vast vertical city where the wealthy live in the upper levels and the lower depths have been largely abandoned. You control a four-person Urban Protection Agency team sent to investigate a disappearance, switching freely between members at any time. Each character has a different specialty, including combat, hacking and machine interfacing, and progress depends on combining their abilities to solve environmental puzzles, restore power, open routes and deal with hostile creatures and people. Levels are explored from a third-person view, with the ability to give orders to the rest of the squad or move them individually. Characters cannot permanently die; they are rebuilt and returned to the team, which keeps the focus on puzzle solving. Co-operative multiplayer is supported.
