SingStar Amped is a PlayStation 2 karaoke release in Sony's SingStar line, focused on a rock-leaning set list. You sing into a USB microphone as lyrics scroll on screen alongside the original music video, and the game compares your pitch and timing to the song's melody, scoring each line as you go. A pitch bar shows how close you are to the notes so you can adjust as you sing. Single-player mode is about working through songs for higher scores, while multiplayer supports two microphones for head-to-head scoring, duets and pass-the-mic play. The presentation is straightforward and menu-based, with the tracks doing the work rather than any elaborate progression system. Like other SingStar discs, it is designed with group play in mind.
This listing is for an authentic original disc — no reproductions. Every product we sell is cleaned and tested before it ships, and our games are backed by a 1-year warranty. Choose Game Only or Complete (CIB) above.
