SSX On Tour is an arcade snow sports game for the PlayStation 2. It continues the SSX approach of high-speed downhill runs and exaggerated trick combos, while adding skiing alongside snowboarding. You create and name your own rider, then work through a career of races, trick events, and challenges set across the mountain, earning rewards that go toward improving stats and gear. Scoring is based on chaining grabs, spins, flips, and grinds, with boost built from tricks and spent on speed and extra height off jumps. Established SSX riders appear alongside your custom character. The presentation leans on a hand-drawn, sketchbook-style look for menus and transitions, and a licensed soundtrack plays over the action.
