Zany Golf is a miniature golf game for the Sega Genesis built around cartoon obstacle courses rather than realistic greens. Each hole is a self-contained puzzle: you line up a shot, set the power, and watch the ball interact with moving parts, ramps, bumpers, and hazards, often needing to time your stroke rather than simply aim it. Holes include oversized props and mechanical contraptions that behave more like pinball tables than fairways, and some require figuring out the intended trick before par is reachable. You start with a limited pool of strokes shared across the course, with extra shots awarded for good play, so running out ends the round. The game supports solo play and passing the controller between multiple players taking turns.
