Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 on the Super Nintendo adapts Midway's arcade fighter, keeping the digitized character sprites and one-on-one 2D fighting the series is built on. The roster broadens Mortal Kombat 3's line-up with returning ninja characters as well as the cyborgs and newcomers from that game. Matches use the run button, chain combos, and stages with uppercut transitions between levels, while round-ending finishers are performed with specific directional and button inputs at the right distance. There are single-player ladders, two-player versus matches and tournament-style play, and codes unlock hidden fights and other secrets. The conversion trims some of the arcade original's presentation to fit the hardware, but the fighters' special moves and the overall structure of a match are carried across.
This listing is for an authentic original cartridge — no reproductions. Every product we sell is cleaned and tested before it ships, and our games are backed by a 1-year warranty. Choose Game Only or Complete (CIB) above.
