Wallace & Gromit in Project Zoo is a 3D platformer for the Nintendo GameCube featuring the Aardman characters in an original story set in a zoo. You mostly control Gromit, with Wallace's inventions providing the tools: gadgets and weapon attachments let you fire objects, hit switches and clear obstacles, while porridge-firing devices and other contraptions handle enemies. Gameplay involves platforming across themed zoo areas, solving mechanical puzzles, freeing captured baby animals and using Wallace to reach places Gromit cannot. Levels are built around distinct habitats, each with their own hazards and machinery, and boss encounters cap off sections. The visual style, animation and voice work follow the films, and Wallace appears throughout to assist and to comment on your progress.
