Budokan: The Martial Spirit casts you as a student at a Japanese dojo preparing to compete in a martial arts tournament. Before entering, you train in separate disciplines, including unarmed karate and weapon-based styles, each with its own set of moves, reach and timing. Practice mode lets you drill techniques and spar with training partners, while the tournament pits you against a series of opponents using different fighting styles and weapons. Matches are viewed from the side, and success depends on managing your stamina meter, which drains as you attack and block, alongside choosing the right strike for the distance between fighters. The game emphasises deliberate, measured exchanges rather than fast combo chains, making positioning and recovery time central to winning bouts.
This listing is for an authentic original cartridge — no reproductions. Every product we sell is cleaned and tested before it ships, and our games are backed by a 1-year warranty. Choose Game Only or Complete (CIB) above.
