Cloud Master is a horizontally scrolling shooter for the Sega Master System with a Chinese folklore flavour. You control a young kung fu student who flies through the air on a cloud, firing energy blasts at waves of enemies drawn from mythology and the surreal: floating creatures, food, animals and assorted oddities. Defeated foes leave behind items, and shops appear between stretches of action where you can trade in what you have collected for stronger shots and other upgrades. Losing a life costs you your current power level, so keeping your weapon fed is a large part of survival. Each area closes with a larger boss enemy that requires you to learn its attack pattern. The presentation is bright and cartoonish rather than mechanical or militaristic.
This listing is for an authentic original cartridge — no reproductions. Every product we sell is cleaned and tested before it ships, and our games are backed by a 1-year warranty. Choose Game Only or Complete (CIB) above.
