Hit the Ice is an arcade-style hockey game for the Sega Genesis. Rather than simulating full teams and league rules, it puts small squads on the ice for fast, high-scoring matches with exaggerated players and heavy body checks. Play is deliberately rough: you can slam opponents into the boards, and fights break out as part of the action. Shots, passes and checks are mapped to a simple control scheme, so games move quickly without deep menus or line management. You select a team and work through opponents, with matches decided by goals scored in short periods. The look is cartoonish, with oversized characters and loud crowd reactions, and it supports head-to-head play against a second player for competitive matches.
This listing is for an authentic original cartridge — no reproductions. Every product we sell is cleaned and tested before it ships, and our games are backed by a 1-year warranty. Choose Game Only or Complete (CIB) above.
