The 8-bit take on Joe Montana Football for the Sega Master System. You select plays from a playbook before each snap, then control your players directly on the field, throwing passes, running the ball and making tackles as the view scrolls with the action. Offensive series follow standard football rules, with downs, yardage and a game clock tracked on screen, while on defense you steer a single defender against the computer's called play. Matches can be played solo against the console or head-to-head with a second player. Given the hardware, the presentation is compact and the pace is quick, favouring simple, readable play calls and immediate arcade-style control over deep statistical simulation.
This listing is for an authentic original cartridge — no reproductions. Every product we sell is cleaned and tested before it ships, and our games are backed by a 1-year warranty. Choose Game Only or Complete (CIB) above.
