Super Runabout is a mission-based driving game set in an open city that you can roam freely between objectives. Each job gives you a destination and a time limit, and how you get there is largely up to you: you can follow the streets or cut through plazas, alleys and other shortcuts, smashing scenery along the way. Vehicles take visible damage as you crash, with parts breaking off and handling deteriorating. Completing missions unlocks additional vehicles, which range widely in size, speed and handling, so a heavy truck and a small car call for very different routes. Driving is deliberately arcade-like rather than simulated, with an emphasis on speed, chaos and finding faster paths through a dense urban map.
