A side-scrolling action game for the NES based on the original Star Wars film. You begin as Luke Skywalker on Tatooine, jumping across desert terrain and caves, fighting creatures and Imperial forces with a blaster and, once you find it, a lightsaber. Progress follows the film's plot: recruiting companions, escaping the planet, and eventually infiltrating the Death Star to rescue Princess Leia. Along the way there are stages that break from the platforming, including piloting sequences set in space and at the Death Star trench. Characters you recruit can be selected and swapped in during levels, each with their own attack. Hidden passages and items are scattered through the stages, and boss encounters draw on familiar creatures and villains from the film.
This listing is for an authentic original cartridge — no reproductions. Every product we sell is cleaned and tested before it ships, and our games are backed by a 1-year warranty. Choose Game Only or Complete (CIB) above.
