Blast Works: Build, Trade, Destroy is a shoot-em-up for the Nintendo Wii built around an unusual mechanic: when you shoot down an enemy, its wreckage can attach to your ship. Bolt on enough debris and your craft grows into a bulky, sprawling machine whose added parts fire alongside your own guns, though the larger silhouette is easier to hit. Losing pieces is part of the rhythm of play. Alongside the main campaign, the game includes extensive editing tools that let you build your own ships, enemies, levels and even backgrounds, and the design encourages sharing those creations with other players.
