Army Men: Operation Green is a handheld entry in the toy-soldier action series, built for the Game Boy Advance. You control a green soldier through mission-based stages viewed from above, shooting Tan infantry, destroying gun positions and vehicles, and working toward objectives marked out at the start of each level. Weapons and ammunition are collected as you go, ranging from standard firearms to explosives and heavier ordnance, and health pickups are placed through the maps. Levels use the series' plastic-scale premise, with molded soldiers fighting across terrain, bases and human-world locations rendered in sprite-based graphics. Play is largely a matter of learning enemy placements, managing limited ammunition and finding routes through each map. Single-player campaign.
