The Wii version of Bee Movie Game puts you in control of Barry B. Benson from the animated film, moving between the hive and the human world beyond it. Gameplay combines third-person platforming and exploration with flight sequences, using the Wii Remote for movement, attacks, and steering during airborne stages. Barry takes on jobs and tasks for other bees as the story advances, gathering pollen and honey and unlocking new areas in and around the hive, a park, and a city. Alongside the main story stages there are racing challenges flown against other bees. Characters and locations follow the film, with cutscenes linking missions together. It is a single-player game aimed at a younger audience, with straightforward combat and simple platforming throughout.
