Boxing Fever is a boxing game for the Game Boy Advance. You fight one-on-one bouts against a roster of cartoon-styled opponents, viewed from behind and over the shoulder of your fighter as you circle, jab, throw hooks and body shots, block, and dodge. Stamina and health management matter, since throwing wildly leaves you open to counters, and knockdowns lead to a count that can end the round or the match. Progress runs through a series of increasingly tough opponents, each with their own look and fighting habits to learn. The art style is exaggerated and colourful rather than realistic, and matches are short enough to suit handheld play. Link cable support allows head-to-head bouts against another player with a copy of the game.
