Breath of Fire is a turn-based role-playing game for the Super Nintendo. You play as Ryu, a young member of the Dragon Clan who can transform into powerful dragon forms in battle, and who sets out after his village is attacked. Along the way he gathers a party that includes Nina, a winged princess, and other companions drawn from different clans. Battles use menu-driven commands with physical attacks, magic and items, viewed from a first-person perspective against the enemy line. Outside of combat you explore an overworld map, towns and dungeons, and several characters have field abilities used to solve obstacles, such as hunting or opening locked containers. Progress comes from experience levels, new equipment and spells learned as characters grow.
This listing is for an authentic original cartridge — no reproductions. Every product we sell is cleaned and tested before it ships, and our games are backed by a 1-year warranty. Choose Game Only or Complete (CIB) above.
