This Sega CD release of Corpse Killer is a full-motion-video shooter set on a Caribbean island overrun by zombies. You play a soldier caught up in a scientist's plan, and the action consists of aiming a crosshair over live-action video and shooting the undead as they approach. The story is told through filmed sequences with digitised actors, and between shooting stages you move around the island, take on missions and manage your supplies. Play is about timing and target selection rather than free movement, and the game supports a standard controller or a light gun peripheral. The B-movie horror presentation, with its mix of video footage and on-screen aiming, defines the experience.
