This is the Dreamcast version of Capcom's survival horror game Dino Crisis. You play as Regina, a member of a special forces team sent to an island research facility to find a missing scientist, only to discover the complex overrun by dinosaurs. The game uses fixed camera angles over real-time 3D environments, mixing cautious room-to-room exploration with keycode and machinery puzzles and sudden encounters with raptors that chase you between areas. Supplies are limited, so you weigh whether to fight or run, and you can combine chemicals to create different healing effects. Alongside conventional firearms you carry tranquiliser darts as a non-lethal option. Decisions about how you treat your surviving teammates affect which of the game's endings you reach, encouraging repeat playthroughs.
