Dream Pinball 3D is a pinball simulation for the Wii, offering a set of original 3D tables rather than real-world licensed machines. Each table has its own theme, layout of ramps, targets and bumpers, and set of objectives to trigger for bonuses and multiball. The Wii version uses the remote and nunchuk for flipper control and table nudging, and the camera can be adjusted to view the playfield from different angles as the ball moves. Play centres on scoring, with high score tracking encouraging repeat attempts on individual tables, and multiple players can take turns in the same game. Physics, ball behaviour and table lighting are handled in 3D, so ramps and multi-level sections are visible in the round as the ball travels through them.
