Drill Dozer is a side-scrolling action platformer for Game Boy Advance in which you pilot a walking machine fitted with a large rotating drill. You play as Jill, and most of the game revolves around using the drill to bore through blocks, walls and enemies, and to grip and turn screws, cranks and other mechanisms built into the environment. The drill can be shifted between gears, with higher gears providing more power for tougher obstacles, and it can be aimed in different directions to dig sideways, upward or downward. Stages mix combat, platforming and light puzzle solving, with upgrades and parts collected as you progress. The cartridge includes a rumble feature that vibrates the system while the drill is spinning, giving physical feedback to the drilling.
