Duel Masters Kaijudo Showdown is a card battling game for the Game Boy Advance based on the Duel Masters trading card game. You take the role of a duelist working through a series of opponents, playing matches that follow the card game's rules: cards are placed into your mana zone to pay for creatures and spells, creatures attack to break your opponent's shields, and the duel is won once the shields are gone and a further attack connects. Cards are drawn from the game's civilizations, each with its own style of creatures and effects. Between duels you build and adjust your deck from the cards you have collected, adding new ones as you defeat opponents. Play is turn-based and menu-driven, with the emphasis on deck construction and matchups rather than action.
