Dynamite Cop is a Sega beat 'em up brought to the Dreamcast from the arcade. You choose one of a small cast of fighters and punch, kick and throw your way through enemies across a series of short stages. Nearly anything lying around can be picked up and used as a weapon, from firearms to improvised objects, and weapons break or run dry, pushing you to keep grabbing new ones. Stages are broken into rooms and corridors, and some points offer branching routes to the next area, so runs can differ between playthroughs. Boss encounters cap off sections, and timed button prompts appear during certain moments. Play is built around fast, replayable sessions rather than long campaigns, and a second player can join in.
