A Nintendo Wii action game in the Super Hero Squad series, using the franchise's cartoon-styled versions of Marvel characters. You fight through side-scrolling stages presented in the style of comic pages, moving between panels as you clear enemies with punches, throws and character special attacks before facing bosses. A second player can join locally for co-operative play, and different heroes are available to control as you work through the story. Controls make use of the Wii Remote, with motion input for some attacks alongside standard button presses. The presentation leans on comic-book devices such as panel borders, sound-effect lettering and speech balloons, matched with light humour in the dialogue. Designed as an accessible brawler for younger players and families rather than a technical action game.
