A Bomberman game for the Sega Genesis. You move around single-screen, tile-based mazes, dropping bombs to blow up soft blocks and enemies while staying out of the blasts yourself. Power-ups hidden in the blocks extend your blast radius, let you carry more bombs at once and increase your speed. The single-player mode works through a series of themed areas with boss fights at the end of each, while the multiplayer battle mode pits players against each other in enclosed arenas until one is left standing. Matches are short, chaotic and built around cornering opponents with well-placed bombs and remote detonations. The Genesis version supports more than two players in battle mode with the appropriate multitap hardware.
