Monopoly on the Sega Master System is a computerised version of the property-trading board game. The board is shown on screen, and you use the controller to roll dice, move your token, and choose whether to buy the street, railroad or utility you land on. The system keeps track of cash, title deeds and rents, deals out Chance and Community Chest cards, and applies the jail, tax and mortgage rules automatically. Once you hold every property in a colour group you can add houses and hotels to increase what opponents owe you. Trades between players are made through simple menus. You can play against computer-controlled opponents or with other people sharing the console, and the match continues until all but one player has gone bankrupt.
