Monopoly for the Super Nintendo presents the property-trading board game with on-screen dice, tokens and title deeds. Players take turns circling the board, buying properties, railroads and utilities, and collecting rent from anyone who lands on what they own. Assembling a full colour group opens up house and hotel construction, which pushes rents much higher. The game automates money handling, Chance and Community Chest cards, jail, taxes, auctions and mortgages, and offers menus for proposing trades to other players. Computer opponents can take any unused seats, and several people can play together on one console by passing the controller. Short animations accompany events such as landing in jail or building on a property, and options let you set the number of players and adjust how long a game runs.
