Puyo Pop is a falling-block puzzle game for the Game Boy Advance. Pairs of coloured blobs called Puyo drop into your well, and you rotate and place them so that four or more of the same colour touch, clearing them from the board. Cleared Puyo cause anything above to fall, which allows carefully stacked setups to trigger chain reactions. Larger chains send transparent nuisance Puyo into your opponent's field, where they can only be removed by clearing adjacent groups. The game includes a single-player run of matches against computer opponents with escalating difficulty, plus additional modes for practising chains and playing on your own terms. Multiplayer versus play is supported by link cable for head-to-head matches.
