A Game Boy Advance adaptation of Rogue Spear, reworking the tactical shooter series for a handheld. Rather than a first-person engine, the game uses an overhead view of each map, with you guiding counter-terrorist operatives through hostage rescues and building assaults. You select your team and their weapons and equipment before deploying, then move through rooms and corridors where both your operatives and the enemies die from very little damage. That lethality pushes you toward careful movement, using doorways and corners, and identifying hostiles before opening fire, closer in spirit to the PC games than to typical handheld action titles. Missions are short and self-contained, with objectives such as freeing hostages unharmed or clearing an area of armed threats, and failure generally means restarting and trying a different route.
